RSWA(Resistant Spot Weld Analyzer) Custom Hardware Project

This project required customized electronics adapted to a commercial off the shelf(COTS) computer. The client, already having awarded ADR with many other projects, once again turned to ADR with our expertise in this area. ADR managed the design and implementation of the product and delivers the product ready for final integration. ADR also has expertise in creating customized rugged cases that are utilized to take a standard COTS device and industrialize it, that is, make it withstand the drop tests and environmental hazards in a manufacturing environment.

Electronic Flight Bags

Essentially, ADR takes a commercial off the shelf(COTS) computer and designed/manufactured it for use in the cockpit. These EFB's come with the high reliability of a COTS device, yet have an enhanced display that increases brightness and wide viewing angle and also a dimming circuit allowing the EFB to be dimmed down to approximately 1 Nit for night time flying.

Aviation Remote Display

Also reference the Electronic Flight Bag(EFB) section of this website for more details. This remote display was manufactured with "yolk" mounting requirements in mind. The package was designed to make it as small and light as possible yet still meet aviation's strict DO testing requirements.
