Warranty Tracking Application System

ADR developed the front end electronic forms for a major automotive engine manufacturer for their Warranty Claim program which tracks all claim information. Data is sent to a central server via a built in Remote Access Server(RAS) software.

Warehouse Inventory Tracking Applications (Both RF and Batch 1D & 2D)

Handheld scanner applications used for auditing warehouse inventory. Programming consists of three modules: Shipping, Receiving, and Internal Audit. Item barcodes are scanned as they enter and leave the warehouse. Data is transferred to a UNIX machine either via RS-232 at the end of day or RF immediately for reporting.

RSWA (Resistant Spot Weld Analyzer) Custom Hardware Project

This project required customized electronics adapted to a commercial off the shelf(COTS) computer. The client, already having awarded ADR with many other projects, once again turned to ADR with our expertise in this area. ADR managed the design and implementation of the product and delivers the product ready for final integration. ADR also has expertise in creating customized rugged cases that are utilized to take a standard COTS device and industrialize it, that is, make it withstand the drop tests and environmental hazards in a manufacturing environment.

Pen-Based City Directory Builder (Phone Book Database)

The Data Source Entry System(DSES) was designed and developed by ADR to assist Polk in the compilation of data necessary to release publications of phone listings. This particular application deals primarily with those sources of information that come from commercial businesses and their employee lists. Companies are offered the opportunity to advertise within the Yellow Pages of a publication, and in exchange for a less expensive advertising fee, the companies provide Polk with a listing of all their employees, including address and phone number. This information is then used to compile the White Pages portion of the publications.
