CAPI / CASI Survey Programming

Advanced Data Research (ADR) has been programming CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) and CASI (Computer Assisted Self Interviewing) surveys since we pioneered pen-based software solutions in 1991. ADR holds several patents for electronic survey methodologies including our electronic survey creation system, ABASE. ADR also has a patented application that allows for individual parts of an item to be selected for like, dislike and/or anything else that feedback on individual parts may be needed for. See our Graphic Breakouts page for more details.

ABASE was developed by ADR for the sole purpose of writing surveys and computing tabulations. It is one of the most powerful and robust programs available for writing surveys. ABASE allows surveys to be created quickly and helps reduce the error rate in the survey creation process. It also seamlessly integrates advanced survey functions and provides for the most complex survey flow to go unnoticed by respondents. Some of the features ABASE allows for are:

  • Forced answers
  • Rotations
  • Random question/answer orders
  • Incorporation of DVD quality videos into the survey
  • Graphics
  • Conjoint analysis
  • Skip patterns
  • Focus group recruitment based on answers given

ADR's expert programmers can make almost any request a reality. ADR has programmed everything from simply surveys on coolers to extremely complex surveys on cars and airports. We also rent touch screen computers that are perfect for use in electronic on-site surveys, see our Rental Equipment page for more details. We excel at the strange and unusual and we have never faced a challenge we couldn't overcome!
