"Night Flight" Feature (Class II FG-Series EFBs only):Pilots who log extended hours of night flying have told us they want a screen that dims down low enough to allow the pilot to view the electronic chart, then look out the cockpit window without losing their night vision. After months of research and development, ADR has created a standard feature on our Class II and III EFBs that solved this problem. We added two small buttons on our Class II and III EFBs that control the brightness. One button allows you to click up the brightness, while the other allows you to dim down the screen to settings that will not compromise your night vision. This feature is included with our Class II and III EFBs.
Portrait Mode Data Input Template (FG-5000 and FG-6000 only)Pilots view charts in Portrait or Vertical mode, while computers generally display in Landscape or Horizontal mode. We have created a Data Input Template that is in portrait mode, which streamlines data input. This is especially critical while in flight for fast and accurate input.
